It is located by North Lake near the athletic facilities, which include the softball and baseball fields, the pool, and the gym.
Is the Rush Week for sororities during the Fall or Spring semester?
Rush Week for sororities starts the week before the Fall semester and they occasionally will allow recruitment during Spring depending on the sorority.
Which option for housing includes a kitchen?
North Lake includes a full kitchen. Osprey Hall in South Village includes a kitchenette, which has a microwave, a kitchen, cabinets, and a kitchen style sink.
What is available for students off-campus?
FGCU is located near the Gulf Coast Town Center, Coconut Point, and Miromar Outlets, which allows students to get off-campus entertainment. The shuttle from FGCU runs during the week for transportation to the Gulf Coast Town Center.
What are the eating options on campus?
Here at FGCU we offer special meal plans that allow students to eat at SoVi, a cafeteria for students located in South Village. There is also a cafeteria on campus, located in the Cohen Center, which can be paid for with dining dollars (Not the same as meal plan). Homezone, located on campus can be used with meal plan for one swipe a day.
Does FGCU really have a beach on-campus?
FGCU has a water front, which has been interpreted as a "beach" but it is a lake available to students to use for paddle boarding, swimming, tubing, and much more! There is white powder sand where students enjoy to sun-bathe during beautiful Florida weather!
